Meet Sabrina

Hi! My name is Sabrina. I currently work as an administrator for a music charity, and sing in one of the top leading symphony choruses in the UK.

I graduated from the University of Surrey with a BMus (Hons) in Creative Music Technology in 2017, and have a lot of experience working with and teaching children and young people in music education.

I have always had a passion for music, and was lucky enough to be in a supportive environment at school, as well as at home. I was able to join various musical ensembles, choirs, and learnt the Saxophone and Flute, as well as Singing. I achieved Grade 8 with high merit results in all of these.

Previous Experiences
At age 18, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Stagecoach Performing Arts for the Early Stages, where I was privileged enough to work closely with professional West End producers, actors, singers and dancers. It was there where my interest in musical theatre blossomed, and I have appreciated the joy that arts and music can bring to life ever since.

Between 2017 and 2022 I worked in a high performing music department at a London secondary school, working 1-2-1 with Music and Music Technology GCSE and A Level students, driving the school to deliver outstanding results (80% of grades 7 and above at GCSE, with many students going to university and conservatoire studying music and music technology).

None of this would have been possible if it were not for that first step of joining a choir as a young child. Singing together in a group setting has certainly built my confidence, and it would be an honour to be able to share that experience with you.
